In 2003, Dr Jean Paul Sammut founded Advocates Sammut & Consultants, where he has since held leadership roles as Managing Partner of the firm. The firm has been involved in a number of prominent legal cases in Malta, both in the Criminal Field and also Commercial and Civil, and has supported clients from different countries including Brazil, China, Dubai, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Switzerland, Nigeria, Luxembourg & Netherlands.

Dr Jean Paul Sammut has lent his expertise as a consultant, mentor, and business advisor to numerous other organizations.

Dr Jean Paul Sammut has served as General Secretary at the Malta Basketball Association, under the chairmanship of Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, and he has also previously served as General Secretary and Senior Team Director of Sliema Wanderers Football Club, Malta.
